Loved the aesthetic and content. What a super creative way to lift up poetry- nice work, Josh!

We are both here for the weird TV-esque vibe :) People will watch this, listen to your cassette and then we'll get even more crazy stuff!

Actually, that cassette said it was a soundtrack but I never saw the video to which it claims to be a soundtrack of. Is that on metalabel or where is the video? I only saw the crazy face guy.

Thank you for watching!

4 sure! Yep- we made three episode of the show that are only on Substack- here's episode 2: https://miter.substack.com/p/salon-du-monde-fremont-002

I want to do some more eventually, but not sure when I'll get the time/motivation

Ok yes, that is pretty awesome, I love it! The tape really does well on its own, so it’s fun now to see it paired up.

The style is amazing too.

Yeah I hear you on the time thing. When I watched episode 2 of yours, I did think, OMG, this would be so long to edit/make. For some reason, I really can’t stand post-production. It’s too a fault really and probably limiting because you have such cool visuals on there. But it’s very nicely done.

How is this not on a VHS tape?! :)

Yep, it was a pretty heavy lift. I didn't have much video editing experience doing this, but it is actually pretty similar to mixing music, which I find to be kinda fun. Doing a VHS tape of this...great idea!

Incredible performance! This was so cool, like a 90's tv show you would catch by accident at midnight in the tv of strangers house, never to be located again

Even the 90s theme is spot on -- the organizers picked the color scheme based on a plastic cup with these "cool blue" colors that was popular in the mid 90s, so I tried to fit to that :)

Exactly the vibe I was going for :)

with love goodbye!

That one I do like performing. Nursery Rhymes have this great history of being so dark and twisted but also children's stories?! The contrast is really great.
