A Colorado Mountain poem
This is lovely, Josh. I too struggle with nature poetry. Why do YOU find it challenging?
I think it's because I'm sadly disconnected from nature. So it feels like I'm really trying repair broken connections. The process and intent however, I think rebuilds them.
This is wonderful.
Thank you, I'm not quite sure I can ever match your haiku energy but I certainly can feel in myself a bit of a change when I did this.
Oh, I don't know! My initial thought was that this feels like a haiku and a tanka, or even something like a short renga chain.
I love how cyclical this poem is!
Thanks! Trying to bring that PNW energy you have to Colorado poems :)
Beautiful. You've grown so much as a poet, brotha. It's been insane to watch!
Wish you the best on this new journey!
I really like the imagery in this one
