Very interesting way of writing about the irresistibility of technology. I appreciate the “Disscussion” part of the poem as well.

Yeah thanks for that. It's a conflicting thing for me because obviously we are connecting now through this medium.

So I can't say it's all evil. But on the other hand, I feel that a bit like an alcoholic saying well, drinking enables me to meet other people.

So it's tension that's interesting to me.

For sure. I think it’s not totally bad. I think it’s good for connecting with others, making a business, and it’s good if it’s used in moderation. But yeah, it is bad too - It can be very addictive in terms of just doom scrolling and not being productive.

Never heard it compared to alcohol before - Personally, I don’t drink alcohol and think it’s better to just completely stay away from alchohol.

Phones are solid state. I miss the old computers that would make mechanical sounds. Reading a program off a floppy was an auditory experience. Even CDs made some sound

Yes, even vintage electronics smell like, well vintage electronics. In doing some research for this piece all I'll say is that modern phones don't smell like anything 🤣
