It is THE racket, along with the pharma/"health" industry, and obviously banking too.

I agree, perhaps a bit too much. I was in the logical antiwar space for some time and they latched onto this.

But I’ve left this for the irrational antiwar group (poetry).

I was not even successful in convincing my family for example until I tacked approaches.

This was excellent and sorely needed. Poetry's the last bastion of free speech, the last outlet we have to tell the truth about what's really going on in this world.

Thank you!

Good imagery with Polymarket. A lot of people aren't even aware of that new dimension yet. I wonder if we'll ever get a leak of who the insiders are that always make perfectly timed bets as war kicks off

I think, as with most crypto things, it’s not completely anonymous. But it’s difficult. I’m sure these insiders will just bring it back to coin base and it will be easily tracked.

I agree.. war is THE racket as Adrian has said. 100% profit, 0 responsibility.

“Tyrants toppling tyrants”, “Palantir profits” and “bets on bone and ash”. Too much truth in so few lines.

P.S. War is a Racket is a great book that really woke me up to “the game” as a young man.

Thank you. I visited Butlers grave, I should do something with a photo I have. But as I mention in the intro to WB, he chose not to buried in Arlington, but instead West Chester, PA. For a man, as decorated as him. That tells you much.

Oh, you will enjoy the book Gangsters of Capitalism if you had not already ready it. It’s his bio but written recently.

I have not read it yet. Thanks for reminding me!

If there is no joy in Mudville there is more than enough gloom to trail after us to our graves.

Inspired writing.

(Though it is deeply sad that the news is giving you so much material)

I know. I was, a bit shaken up. I told myself I will not respond but in poetry. I’m going to try to keep that line, it’s better for all of us. But so far it’s been difficult.
